Project Description: The goal was to create a compelling brochure within the Markel brand standards that informed the viewer of how Markel invests, why they should invest in Markel, but to ultimately pick up the phone and call Bruce directly. The heavy paperweight and custom die of the brochure play a huge part of its success. It feels substantial in your hand, nothing shy of how Markel sells themselves. The custom die allows the viewer to interact with the brochure: opening it by releasing its unique tab, unfolding its different panels, and then interacting with the different folds that reveal hidden content. All of these elements, including the design, bring a unique experience to the viewer making it more likely to remember, learn from, keep, and to pick up the phone and call Bruce.
