Design School Survival Kit / Personal Project
Design School Survival Kit
Audience: Young Design Students
Project Description: Writing and designing a book on process. Focusing on a topic close to home: Design School. This book is all about the do’s and don’ts of design school and how to survive it with all your fingers attached. Chip Kidd’s, “Cheese Monkeys” book helped inspire to write it in a satirical nature making it more relatable to the target audience. The minimal color palette of reds and blues helped relate it to a first aid kit. The book was also accompanied by providing plenty of medical supplies and design necessities for those late nights, shaky hands and accidental cuts.
