ArtsX: 2013 Carnivale

Audience: Bowling Green Community and visitors of ArtsX 2013

Project Description: ArtsX (Arts Extravaganza) is the largest event held by the Bowling Green State University School of Art. This event showcases all its different art clubs, classes, artwork, and faculty artwork. The event is the number one fundraiser held by the school for the clubs so it is important to have a large audience attend. Being on the 2013 design committee for ArtsX we chose to make the theme: Carnivale. The Venetian Carnivale is a celebration of the arts and performances within the community set in a nightlife atmosphere, making the theme perfect for the event. We designed multiple print pieces (invites, posters, brochures, maps, advertising), web pieces, and decorated the event themed around Carnivale. Working as a team we branded the event with rich colors and iconic type, making it look and feel like a true Venetian Carnivale.
